ABOUT
What is Horizon?
We are a non-profit organization, working to teach students STEM and foster a love for the field within them. We were founded by students with extensive STEM experience who were dissatisfied with the current state of education. We believe STEM should be taught through hands on experience, where students thoroughly understand topics and how they are applied.​ We aim to provide another option compared to public education which forces students to memorize concepts with no real understanding of the topic. Our model hopes to create curious and capable young scientists and engineers who can apply skills we teach to innovate and be impactful in their field. We are a completely free organization but do accept donations to expand our goal worldwide. All proceeds go to Teach for India to foster education and curiosity across the globe.
